Midnight Memories

Finally the wait is over, Midnight Memories has been released worldwide on the 25th of November! Even though the album has been leaked a week ago, it's still #1 on the iTunes chart in 91 countries on the 25th. It is also set to score the fastest selling album of 2013, so proud of the boys. I managed to get it the day after it was released and after importing it to my iTunes and listened to every single song, I'm in love with the album. Some of my favourites are You and I, Midnight Memories, Strong, Happily and Half a Heart. The album is really different compared to Up All Night and Take Me Home, but it definitely did not disappoint me. Definitely an album worth buying, but then again I'm a fan of theirs so... but seriously, you guys should go get it. It's really good. x

Parka, Crop top, Jeans and boots are definitely my top favourites right now. In love with this outfit and how I wish I live in the US/ UK so I can wear outfits like these and also layer my tops. But sadly, Singapore is so hot and if I ever try wearing clothes like these, I'll die under the heat. x

I've been feeling so horrible these few days. Not only am I depressed over things that I've no idea what they are, I'm also so annoyed and tired of everything. Everywhere's too noisy, even the library, even when I'm alone at home. All the noises in my head are enough to drive me nuts, let alone when I'm in class where everyone's talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking.

AMAs

One Direction's group hugs are my favourites. Congratulation boys for winning 2/2 of the awards. Can't be more proud of them. 'Midnight memories' is also out now which makes the start of this week so much better. Gonna get it later so that I can finally listened to every single songs. Cheers to the two awards that the boys have won at the AMAs yesterday and to the many other awards that they will be winning at other award shows. 

Also, Taylor Swift and Kylie Jenner look so so gorgeous with their outfit yesterday. Sigh, what is self-esteem if people like Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne exist? Also, the one that won the most award yesterday is Taylor Swift which I'm not surprise at all. Sadly, I was not able to watch AMAs because timezone and school. Loving this year's AMAs though. x

X Factor UK Live Shows Week 7

Sam Bailey. There's no song that Sam Bailey couldn't sing. She has such such amazing vocals and this performance is such an in-your-face performance for those who says that she couldn't sing, that she's too old to be still in the competition and that she won't be able to sell records. Again, she did not fail to wow me with the performance just like how she did for the previous few. Amazing. I love her and her performances so much.

Amazing performance by Luke Friend. He performed 1975's version of What Makes You Beautiful which is just amazing and just as amazing as 1975 which proves how amazing it is! Alright, enough of the "amazing" I just love this performance of his so much.

Nicholas McDonald also has one of the best vocal this year on X Factor UK, together with Sam Bailey. I can actually see both of them in the finals. He's actually really really good for many of his performances to be honest, but he seldom sings songs that I know so I rarely listen to his performances.

In love with the TOPSHOP MOTO Fishing Jacket that Eleanor has. At first when she was first seen wearing it, everyone was like I have to get that jacket and I'm like "just because she has it and looks gorgeous with it, doesn't mean you will too" but now I get why everyone wants it. Firstly, it's super nice. Secondly, it looks good with many outfits. Lastly, I feel that it'll be so comfy in cold weather countries. If I had the money, I would buy it too but sadly I don't and Singapore is too hot for me to wear a jacket/ coat like this. Hashtag, sad life of a Singaporean. x

X Factor Us - Tim Olstad "You Raise Me Up"

Amazing save-me performance by Tim Olstad yesterday. Compared to Carlito who wasn't bad at all too, he definitely did better and I personally think that Tim has a better voice. Sadly, all judges sent him home, not sure about Simon but if he made a choice too I'm pretty sure he would send Tim home too because apparently, he finds him boring. I'm actually sick of people finding the "whole package", people with the charm, looks, style, instead of someone who compared to the other one has a much better vocals. Sadly, Tim has already been eliminated and nothing can change, so I don't see why Tim's fans are hating on Carlito / sending him hates. It's stupid if you asked me. x

It's so casual and comfy which is the kind of outfits that I love to wear and I've always wanted a cardigan that looks like the one above but I couldn't find them anywhere. )-: x

Agents of SHIELD

Agents of SHIELD, a series that I'm currently so obsessed with right now. For Marvel fans (like my brother), it might not be fantabulous for them (but they still love it) but it's absolutely amazing to me. Watched the first episode of it at the Marvel Showcase and I just instantly fell in love with it like I have that "I need to watch every single episodes of it" feeling. It's intense and also it's starting to reveal more of the characters background which I absolutely love and... I love/ ship Agent Ward and Skye together. Just finished watching the latest episode, episode 8, and I'm really hoping that Agent ward and May are not hooking up. Also, I'm really curious about what happen to May. x

Thor 2 + Jasmine's advance birthday celebration

Had a really amazing day today even though Jasmine's birthday surprise was a really fail one but yea. Had my first fine-dining experience (sort of) @ Recipes. The  food was a lot better than I thought and we had so much fun talking about random stuffs. After that we headed for Marina Square to buy Thor 2 tickets before starting our plan to surprise her. Failed but hopefully she's still satisfied! Thor 2 after that and it was so good. I really hate Loki and his illusion. Just kidding, I love him to death. I would choose his 'powers'/'abilities' over Thor any day. And Loki, Tom Hiddleston. :* 

Oh! And I finally got my Salute album! x

Short rant.

Whatever happen to signing artist that can actually sing instead of just artist who apparently has the whole package aka looks, styles and well, voice. Remember Susan Boyle? I thought her auditions was an unforgettable one because it teaches you not to judge people by their looks or whatever. I'm actually really shock reading how Simon Cowell is pissed that Sam Bailey's said to win this competition instead of Tamera. Yea sure, she can sing but Sam Bailey has no doubt, one of the best voice for this year's X Factor UK. Also, not only saying this will stir up drama which is probably what you want so people will watch the X Factor UK, but don't you ever wonder if whatever you say will affect her emotion, if she'll be hurt and how it'll affect her performance next week? I don't get it. I really don't. I really hope whatever the papers/ sites says ain't true because I'll be so pissed and disappointed. I thought you love talents, not just people who can actually sell records cause they have better style/ looks/ are young. If that's what you want now then she's better off with The Voice instead of X Factor. x

Hey guys, so this week has been a really busy busy one for me. With lots of presentations, tutorials, slides to complete, etc. However, I had lots of fun this week too! Celebrated Safwanah's belated birthday on Monday since her birthday was during home-based learning and everyone was busy. 

 No doubt I have the best group of friends (the people above + Shu Xuan, Jasmine Chong and Jia Sheng) but I can't help but wish that I'm at Temasek Polytechnic instead. I wonder what will happen if I were to let myself choose TP instead of SP. I wonder if I would be happier or less happy. Going to Temasek Polytechnic would mean that I could spend more time with Nelle because we will be in the same school. but there are also many reasons why I decide to choose SP instead. However, lately, I've been feeling like I've made the wrong choice to come to SP. 

Assignments that I, an events student, got to do. I thought that I'm an events student, not an architecture student. Oh well, til next time! x

Outfit for #Waves18

So I've just decided to try out polyvore as it seems really cool, so I did a similar outfit to what I wore for Waves 18.  For Waves 18, I wore the jumper that I got from Thailand which is similar to the one above, however, with 'NEW YORK' print instead of "#nofilter". I also wore the ankle boots that I've bought specially for prom last year which is very very similar to the one above, and lastly my Bershka dark washed jeans which is also similar to the topshop one above! Hope you guys like posts like this! xo

Nutcracker; Waves 18

Went for SP Strictly Dance Zone's Waves 18, which is a story about the Nutcracker, with Annisaa last Saturday and it was amazing, had so much fun there! No doubt, it's the best school production I've ever watch yet, it's really funny, cool and just wow. Not much pictures are taken. For the performances, I've only took the Africa's scene which is my favourite scenes out of all. I've recorded videos but I've no idea how to upload them so, yeap! x

Sam Bailey - New York New York

As usual, Sam Bailey did not fail to wow me again with her wonderful performance of New York New York. Her voice just keeps getting better and better it's so incredible. When I watch her performed for the first Live Shows, I already thought that it's the best she could get because she was so so brilliant already but weeks after weeks, her performances and voice just keep getting better. I really hope she'll win this competition. I really do. Even if she don't, I'm already waiting for Simon to sign her, he better.

What I've been up to this week.

So these 5 days have been Home-based Learning (HBL) week for me because my amazing school just decided to give this whole home-based learning thing a try so yea. Have been doing lots of tutorials and slides lately and it has been successful I guess but I definitely would have preferred a normal school week because it seems a lot more busy this week than normal school week. 

Monday:

So like what I've blogged a few days ago, I went to TP to find Nelle since I don't have to go to school and attended her lecture with her and whatever we did or I did that was being blogged the other day.

Tuesday/ Wednesday:

Tuesday and Wednesday are my laze at home day plus doing all the work that I have to do. Was really really sick and had massive headaches for like nearly 24/2 for those days which makes me feel like removing my head and throat for those 2 days. 

Thursday:

Went back to school for Events Experience to video down the games that were chosen as part of the video that had to be submitted today for HBL assignment. Wasn't in best of mood yesterday, neither have I totally recovered from the flu and cough that I've had. Gave up after the group left and decided to work on Marketing and AVS instead to clear it off first. After that we ( Shu Xuan, Jia Sheng and me) went to Morganfield's for dinner. The ribs will so good and feeling. It was one of the most satisfying dinner I've had in months.  Also, Shu xuan passed me the 'The Key' fragrance which she help me to get at the airport because it's cheaper there.

Friday:

Went to Shu Xuan house this morning to complete Marketing and also the remaining of Events Experience. Completed Marketing before watching Wolverine while having our lunch and then afterwards we started on Events Experience.Had a great laugh when we're filming our video for the last game. After getting everything done, we rest for a lil while before I gotta leave.

"Does pain turn people away from their god? If so, how?

Pain can turn anyone away from just about anything. Pain is capable of causing you to do things you would never consider doing, such as blaming God for your pain.

Pain.. such a simple word that holds so much inside. I have come to learn that pain is the strongest emotion one can feel. Unlike every other emotion, there is no upside to pain, no positive notion that can make you look at the pain from a different perspective, there is only pain. Lately I have become very well acquainted with pain, the ache has nearly become unbearable. Sometimes when I'm alone, which is more often than not as of recently, I find myself trying to decide which type of pain is worse. The answer isn't as simple as I thought it would be. The slow and steady aching pain, the type of pain that comes when you've been hurt repeatedly by the same person yet here you are, here I am, allowing the pain to continue, it never ends. Only in those rare moments when he pulls me to his chest and makes promises that he never seems able to keep, does the pain disappear. Just as I get used to the freedom, my freedom my self inflicted pain, it returns with another blow.

I have decided that the hot, burning, inescapable pain is the worst. This pain comes when you finally begin to relax, you finally breathe, thinking that the pain is yesterday's problem when in fact it's today's problem, tomorrow's, and every day after that. This pain comes when you pour everything into something, into someone, and they betray you so suddenly that the pain crushes you and you feel as if you are barely breathing, barely holding on to that small fraction of whatever is left inside of you begging you to go on, not to give up.

Sometimes it's faith that people hold onto, sometimes, if you're lucky enough you can confide in someone else and trust them to pull you out of the pain before you dwell in it for too long. Pain is one of those hideous places that once you visited you have to fight your way out and even when you think you have escaped you are permanently branded. If you're like me, you don't have anyone to depend on, no one to take your hand and assure you that you will make it through this hell. Instead, you have to lace up your boots, grab your own hand and pull yourself out."

Went to TP yesterday to meet Jannelle since it's Home-based Learning week for me and I don't have to go to school. Went for Nelle's lecture with her because I don't wanna stay alone in the library. (': Their lectures are as boring as ours in SP and I've never yawned as much as I did yesterday during lecture ever. After that we head to Tampines for our lunch with Shirley and head to Nelle's house. They were baking while I'm watching my lecture online. It was hell. After that dinner with Nelle and then home sweet home!
