Divergent series.

"Weirdly, I enjoyed being knocked back at the beginning.
Being told no so many times made being told yes that bit better." - Lily Collins

Got Divergent and Insurgent yesterday at the MPH sales and it was so cheap. Can't wait to start reading them after I finish City of Fallen Angels. Not gonna read MI anymore 'til I finish the other books that I wanna read since the last book will only be out next year while the next book for divergent will be out this October. (-: x

City of Glass ft. Results
+ XFactor UK Auditions Week 3

If I read the same speed as I did yesterday for City of Glass, I should be able to finish it by today. And then I can get the next book tomorrow. My meals today (apart from dinner) will most probably be cakes and nothing else because I'm saving money for my books and I should really stop eating instant noodles.

Also, tomorrow at 11 AM, I'll be getting my results for this semester. Can't stop thinking about it ever since I found out about the date that our results will be out. Time like these, thank god for books and internet to distract us from thinking about stuffs like these, stuffs that we shouldn't think about.

X Factor UK Auditions week 3 is another amazing week, filled with amazing singers. There are other contestants who are fantastic but their genre/ whatever you call it just don't really fit me, I guess. My favourites this week are Next of Kin and Nicholas McDonald. Nicholas voice is just wow, and I really like Next of Kin's room auditions so yea. x

Mortal Instruments

My life revolves a lot around Mortal Instruments now. The books, the casts and all those tumblr fan accounts of Jamie Bower and Lily Collins.

The book 'City of Ashes' is actually so so amazing. And everything about Simon or happen to Simon is just brilliant. A lot people on Tumblr are saying that City of Glass is super good and City of Glass is the book that was recommended a lot, I can't wait to start reading it. Have to start saving for the next book, I'm like so broke right now because I bought 'All I want for Christmas is a Vampire' by Kerrelyn Sparks too yesterday, such a good book. I rent it a few years ago? And I finally found it yesterday. And I realised I love romance + vampire/ werewolves/ shape shifters/ shadow hunters kind of books (':

Told you. Jokes on you guys, she won. Boomz. x

Amazing day out!

Had an amazing day with my 2 bestest friends, also known as, sisters from another mister/ other misters (I don't know). So this is what we did today...

First, we went Kinokuniya to look for my City of Ashes which sadly, was out of stock. But I saw 'Where we are' on the shelf so, must as well buy it. I could have gotten 2 Mortal Instruments book with it (I think), but it's 1D. Lunch at Soup Spoon after that.

After that we went to Takashimaya to get City of Ashes because I just need that book, and then we decided to watch The Purge. If you're a fan of thrillers movie then I'll recommend you to watch it cause if you're a fan of this types of movie, you'll love it. But if you can't really watch this type of movies (like me) then better not. It's actually nice, but it's disgusting. I was actually really excited to watch it because I find the storyline pretty cool, but when you're actually watching the movie, watching them kill, it's another story, not cool at all. It's just disgusting. And just when we left the building we heard a siren very similar to the one that starts and ends the Purge event which is just...

Walked around Fareast after that and had our lunch at Ramen Ten. So disappointed that they had no salmon till 7 plus, which is just sad. Home sweet home after that!

My books!

Me with my book ft. annoying guys/ friends of that annoying guy who bitch about Louis. Nothing really rude to be mad/ annoyed about but I really can't stand people like this. "Cui"? Come on, who's the one playing soccer with the professionals and living his dream, and who's the one having to study Amaths at Wendy's?

The Purge!

Actually really like this candid shot of me on the left, because my face is covered so you can't see it woots. And it would be my ootd shot too hahah.

Anyway! I actually envy those people who can speak/ communicate with everyone confidently. Cause most of the time unless I've talked to you a few times already, I'll always stutter a tiny bit? Which sucks cause I can't really argue with people because I'll stutter. I can't even talk to some people without stuttering a bit.  Alright, bye!x

Mortal Instruments.

If you're going to read City of Bones or don't wanna find out if Jace and Clary are siblings or not yet, skip this post.

Just finished City of Bones yesterday, which by the way was amazing! A lot better than the movie, stories are slightly different compared to the movie like the main issues and stuffs are more or less the same but others are kinda different. For example, the portals, what happened to madame dorothea, etc. The only thing that suck is that I'm quite sure I didn't come across this quote in the book, 'Remember when I said I'd never seen an angel? Well, I lied.' and that's what I like about the movie when Jace said this to Clary. Oh and Luke wasn't the one Clary threw some weapon at, it was Alaric. And Simon turned into a mouse, and it was Jace who got bitten by the vampire. And I hope Alec and Magnus will get together. And also for some reason, I actually really really like the Falcon Story.

Meeting Nelle and Amanda later at bugis, off to get the City of Ashes. Can't wait. Can't wait to finish this book and move on to City of Glass, where they know that they are actually NOT siblings. I don't think they'll officially get together til at least City of Glasses, so yea. x

Marvel Showcase ft. City of Bones

Went to the Marvel Showcase yesterday, which was amazing! Lot's of people there. Thank god we went early so we got pretty good seats since it's free seating. They showed the Cartoon of the Avengers which is pretty alright, not that amazing. And after that they show the footage of  the Comic Con, which includes the trailers of Thor 2, Captain America 2, Avengers 2 and Guardian of the galaxy, plus the first episode of Agents of shield. They were absolutely brilliant, amazing and just plain awesome.

Really can't wait for Guardian of galaxy to be out because it's amazing and funny and it's definitely one of my must watch movies next year. Thor 2 is a must watch too because the ending of the extended trailer showed just makes people wanna watch the movie. The agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is also just plain awesome too, can't wait for the next episode to be out. Although it will really suck because I've watched the first episode in the cinema and then the rest I'll have to watch on funshion on the family comp because I've no funshion so... Boo. & If I'm not wrong the first episode will be out on 24th September, so... Can't wait!

Marvel Showcase was so so so amazing 'cause not only were we the first few in asia to watch the trailers apart from Thor 2, we also get to watch Agents of shield before it even came out in the US! Just amazing. Had such a great time yesterday. I also manage to get my 'City of Bones' since I've finished my previous book. Sucks that City of Ashes is out of stock though, wanted to get 2 at once so I don't have to go back so soon to get the next book. But oh well, at least I got City of Bones. Alright bye!
